On the North West corner of Av Benito Juarez and 15 Avenida Nte.,
A small park sits. An oasis in the city, just 3 blocks west of the Carribean.
This is the place to be for mexican food “on the go”.
Not wanting to eat standing, we opted for the eatery called “Mexico Lindo” and took a seat.
At first we were the only people at the restaurant, soon joined by a couple from France at a neighboring table.
We come out looking for tacos, but since we couldn’t decide which meat to order, our waiter upsold us the “Grill” for 2, for only $120 pesos.
The Grill consisted of Pork, beef, long pork sausage, chirizzo, melted cheese, pastor, arrachera, and nothern style alambre. and of course a stack of corn tortillas.
Too much food! We had left overs for two more meals!
After eating, we watched a couple of young men try their skill at marksmanship. Tenga cuidado!
A great evening in Playa was ended by a nice stroll back to the condo, where bed time awaited.
